Job Title: Fishing Captain
Department: Fishing
– To meet the target catch quota of the boat, monthly and annually.
– To plan fishing operations and establishing the fishing area that will give good catches for his boat.
– To monitor, maintain and maximize the usage of all fishing materials, i.e. net and cable wires.
– To monitor and maximize the usage of electronics and equipment on board.
– To make use of their intelligence network regarding fishing catch date of other boats in the fishing ground.
– To ensure maximization and utilization of the on-board chopper in the searching and catching of fish.
– To promote operational coordination, safety, teamwork and cooperation among the crew team members.
– To ensure that all refrigeration equipment, i.e. brine, refrigerated sea water (RSW), pumps and compressors are well prepared and in good condition.
– To ensure that all machineries on board (main engine, auxiliary engines, electronic and electrical system and others) are in good operational condition.
– To ensure that everything is well coordinated/ communicated before any net setting.
– To ensure that the company rules and regulations (CRR) are dutifully followed by him and his crew.
– To abide by the rules, regulations, laws and policies. Any cost incurred as a result of the said willful violation will be charges to the accounts of the Master Fisherman e.g. Setting on FADs during FAD closure period, bribery, fishing in prohibited areas, etc.
Food Safety and Fish Quality
– Timely and immediate brailing.

– On time preparation of brine and RSW.

– Serve as positive role model, faithful servant of God and maintain a very harmonious and healthy relationship with his fellow crew.
Qualifications:– With vast experience as Master Fisherman
– With valid passport and seaman’s book
– With good moral and character
– Physically fit
– Good eyesight and hearing
– Able to work well with others.
– Taiwanese, Japanese are welcome to join the team
