POSITION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: Sales

LOCATION: Madang Papua New Guinea
Main Duties:
  • Develop and handle marketing price strategies, selling of canned tuna products to an identified region in the country.
  • Strengthen the link in the supply chain and handles order entry/filling with automatic market.
  • Coordinates with depots and ensures timely delivery of products to the distributors and /or customers warehouse.
  • Ensures timely and accurate collection of payments.
  • Provide a means of measuring performance through records obtained.
  • Ensures maintenance if not increase of market share in the region.
  • Monitors buying cycle of distributors and gathers information on product competition.
  • Supervises performance of all regional sales supervisors and merchandisers.
Qualifications:
  • College graduate with a degree in Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration or related course.
  • Relevant practical experience.
  • Excellent people skills and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and knowledgeable in the ways and customs of the various buyers’ groups.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in sales in a supervisory or managerial position of shelf stable product.
  • Familiar with the market situation.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in the business environment.
  • Willing to travel abroad.
