Main Duties:

The QC Senior Supervisor is responsible for the full coverage of the over-all activities of on-line QC Inspectors ensuring that all the food safety and quality parameters are met according to the set standards of the company.

Ensures general acquaintance with RDTCs various policies and with that of the Departmental Objectives, Programs and Activities of QA/QC Department.
Ensures that quality control procedures from unloading to shipping are consistently implemented and reviewed for suitability once a year or as necessary.
Responsible in developing and enhancing the competency of personnel within his/ her area of responsibility.
Ensures QC Specialist, Packaging & Seaming Technician and QC Inspectors/Technicians’ adherence to their functions, duties and responsibilities.
Ensures competency of QC Inspectors/ Technician on established food safety and quality standards and procedures by conducting orientations and refresher training courses minimum once every year.
Ensures that all CCP/ OPRP/ CQP QC Inspectors/ Technician are provided with HACCP related courses and equipped with relevant trainings and skills to enhance their competency.
Ensures availability of all inspection tools, forms and others paraphernalia. Inventory shall be conducted at least every 2 months or as necessary.
Ensures preventive maintenance and calibration of all inspection tools or instruments used for QC line monitoring.
Coordinates and maintains constant communication with the respective area Supervisors or Managers for the production plan including unplanned activities and sudden changes.
Reviews and checks QC online monitoring reports at least every 2 hours or if not possible at least thrice per shift. CCP, CQP & OPRP reports shall be reviewed within 24 hours. Non-CCP/ CQP/ OPRP shall be reviewed within 48 hours.
Monitors QC Section compliance to the established Objectives, Targets and Plans on a monthly basis. Ensures compliance of the section to the established key performance indicators.
Collates and evaluates quality control deviation data monthly trend analysis from the unloading to shipping operations.

Prepares the HACCP CCP/ OPRP/ CQP Validation and Verification Report to be submitted to QA/QC Manager and HACCP Team on a semi-annual basis.
Ensures all processes/ equipment employed inside the processing line are validated by Technical Services and approved by the HACCP Team. This includes the equipment, procedures, ingredients and other processes that could affect product safety and quality. Any deviation shall be reported to immediate superior.
Ensures all activities pertaining to quality control are being documented and pertinent information being disseminated accordingly.
Ensures adherence to the established Good Manufacturing Practices and SSOP Programs.
Conducts Pre-Operation and Post-Operation Checking or delegates to a qualified QC Personnel to perform the checking in his/her behalf.
Issues immediate highlight reports and recommends corrective actions to address the occurrence of non-conformity.
Conducts investigation on the related customer complaints and prepares the Result of Investigation to Complaint (RINC) Report within the given lead time.
Recommends preventive measures to potential deviations.
Ensures all non-food safety/ minor deviations are covered with QDR and immediate corrections are provided to the affected lot. Issue corrective actions for food safety/ major/ critical deviations.
Shall promote effective and efficient operation to minimize unnecessary expenses.
Shall be responsible in monitoring and updating the daily time in and out of QA Section personnel.
Performs other related jobs assigned by the immediate superior.
In his/ her absence, the QC Specialist shall take the responsibility.
