
Ground Breaking Ceremony of RD PNG Corporate 5 Storey Commercial Building
RD Executives led by Mr. Roland Salangsang- EVP- Manufacturing RD GROUP, Mr. Philip M. Sanchez- RD PNG Ltd.- Managing Director , Mr. Arnel M. Gonato- VP-GM of RD Fishing PNG and Mr. Erwin Joseph C. Ortiz- VP-GM of RD Tuna Canners, Emmanuel V. Pacifico – AVP-Admin, and RD officers had a ceremonial ground breaking ceremony last 8 Dec 2018 in Taurama, Port Moresby, officiated by Rev. Alexander C. Ayop.

The property is a 5 storey bldg. , which has an approximate lot area of approximate 3,500sq meter and a floor area approximate 1,806sq meter which will accommodate RD PNG’s corporate office for RD PNG sales, marketing , business units, and depot.

It will also feature and offers commercial business space for lease for other commercial business and interested partners. This is a proud moment of RD GROUP of being the first to construct abroad, a Corporate and Commercial Bldg, outside General Santos City Philippines.
This future establishment will serve RD PNG’s epitome of RD’s resilience as the pioneer of Tuna Processing and Commercial fishing in PNG. A worthwhile investment in support to PNG government which generates revenues for the people and the country.
Importantly, RD Group of Companies acknowledges that this is a blessing from God and a PRONOUNCEMENT OF GOD’S FAVOR (Gen 14:18-19) and OUR PRAISES (Psalms 103:2-5)
Construction starts this 2019.

RD GROUP ATTENDS SIAL PARIS 2018
The RD Team, once again, attends SIAL 2018 at the Paris Nord Villepinte in Paris, France last 21 – 25 October 2018 under RD Foods BV booth at Hall 5b N 025.
This year, more than 7,200 exhibitors – 87% from outside France – and more brands than ever. With an attendance of 310,000 industry representatives (73% visitors from outside France). Over the five days of the show, SIAL Paris promoted more than 400,000 products over an area equivalent to more than 100 supermarkets laid out end-to-end!
The RD Team always attends this biennial event to showcase its different tuna products. This is also a venue for the group to meet face-to-face with its buyers and prospects.
The RD booth this year is different from the previous years – with a large dominant structure promoting its Dolly canned tuna brand. This year it’s a cozier and open booth with two meeting rooms, simulating the view from the captain’s bridge of a fishing vessel. Overall, RD shows a fully integrated company – from fishing, cold storage, can making processing, label and box printing and processing, with sales offices in the major market in the world.
